The sink has two holes drilled, see product photo. The hole that will not be used can be sealed with a plug, which is included in the sink accessories, see photo. This plug is inserted into the hole and tightened from below. There is no risk of leakage

For this reason, the manufacturer is unable to guarantee the exact dimensions stated in the technical specifications. Note: the Lusitano sink has a so-called "hidden" overflow. The outlet in one container cannot be closed completely. This system functions as an overflow.

We would like to inform you that this is a ceramic sink that is made using traditional methods – casting into molds and subsequent high-temperature firing in a kiln at temperatures around 1200 °C. During this process, minor changes in the material structure may occur, particularly in areas that are not visible, such as the underside of the sink, which is not exposed to view or in contact with water or dishes during regular use.

Fine hairline cracks that may appear specifically on this underside, technical part of the sink occur due to material shrinkage during firing. This phenomenon is common in ceramic products of this type and does not compromise the strength, water tightness, or overall functionality of the sink. Additionally, these micro-cracks occur on the unglazed portion, which is intended solely for structural purposes (e.g., attachment to the countertop) and have no impact on the appearance or user comfort.
